Today in Lille we had the privilege to play for a real supercrowd. A crowd of kids! Unfortunately we don’t speak french and they didn’t speak english but we got along really well anyway. Merci all kids! (and the parents…)
Clermont Ferrand gave us lots of sun. Pedro took great care of us and Simon sang his heart out to Nenneh Cherry and she sang long. What can you say, we had a great time.
Thankyou all for coming to our shows tha ast couple of days. And thank all kids who came to our special kidsshow in Lille today. You were awesome. Pictures here in he blog soon!
We’ve just arrived at Europavox festival in Clermont-Ferrand. Dinner is the first plan. Then we are looking forward to Johan, Marcus and Jonas joining the tour tonight. They will bring tons of new energy for the lot of us. We are also trying to upload some new episodes of I’m from Barcelona TV for you to enjoy. Hope to see many of you tonight.
We made our way to Graz today. We gave you balloons and confetti. You gave of lots of love. Thankyou for that. Now we’re hanging out in the bus talking about good times, new and old to the sound of old emo-favorites. Next stop Zagreb. Hope to see you there! Until then sleep tight.
It just a matter of a brief moment in time now until you’ll get a new episode from Barcelona TV.
Frida made sure bandfriend and photografer Mats Udd joined the tour this time. The result will be up here and on our channels on Youtube and Vimeo. So make sure you don’t miss it.
Until then you can watch old episodes from I’m from Barcelona TV here
We made our first stop as a band in Hungary. Best of all, the venue - a boat.
The show was filmed by 5 cameras (more about one of them in a bit) so hopefully even more of you can get a piece of it in the future.
Budapest gave us new pants, sunhine, americans, great crowd and a day to remember…
We made it to Salzburg. Had some great food. Martin sneeazed a lot. Frida took some great pics that dissapeared when her memorycard collapsed. The sun was warm and the temperature was high bth outside and inside. In short: we had a great time. Hope to see you all again!
We had a great time in Schorndorf last night. A big thankyou to everyone who was there. Today we’re playing in Mozart’s town: Salzburg. We didn’t bring our mozart-costumes, and we haven’t learned to play Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, but let’s all hope it goes well anyway. Come to Rockhouse tonight. We can’t wait to meet you!
One of Emanuel’s rare moments in the sun, by a wall in Schorndorf.
Tonight is the first night of the tour and we’re happy to return to schüür in Luzern. Cheers to you all and see you soon. Special greetings to the ones left back home.

We´ve been away from our native capital for more than two years, but now we´ve been back!
We started the day at Swedish Radio we’re we played a short set that went out live in Radio Stockholm and the show “Musikplats Stockholm”.
Then we packed our things again and went past the Royal Theatre and to Debaser Medis
We, had some food, hanged out with friends like our great photografer Mats filled the place with balloons (big big thanks to Ulrika for the balloondrop!) and had a great time!
Thank you guys for coming hope to see you again soon! Now we’re off to Gothenburg and Sticky Fingers. Happy Valentines by the way!
Sen packade vi in oss i bussen igen.
“Love is a feeling that we don’t understand, but we’re gonna give it to you!” /IFB!
Pepp pepp!
In short:
Listen to us live on Swedish radio on Friday, and see us live the same night on Debaser Medis in Stockholm or on Saturday in Gothenburg on Sticky Fingers. See you!
We’re proud to present a new video for the song Gunhild made by Melbourne based filmmaker Sascha Karner.
Sascha is a writer, director and cinematographer and for the moment he is focusing on short films and music videos.
The video for Gunhild is based on his film “the Cosmonaut and the Sun”, about a young boy’s journey into an imaginary world filled with newfound power and unsuspecting victims.
Nice to see you all in Copenhagen and Malmoe. Grymt kul å spela i Sverige igen! (that was swedish, just said it was great to play back home). Hope to see you all in Stockholm and Gothenburg February 13th and 14th at Debaser Medis and Sticky Fingers!
Leave you all with some pics from our weekend in the south.
Take care and see you soon!
Our new single Mingus is release digitally today. Go ahead and buy it on iTunes and you’ll get the b-side Music Killed Me (Soft Pole Version). It’s a remix made by our dear synth player Martin Alfredsson, aka Circuit Pole. Visit his Myspace!
When we were about to leave Brussels Simon and Emanuel had found some new friends that they didn’t whant to leave behind. But there was just no room for them in the bus… Cornelia is still the only one who mjaus. At least when SoKo is around.
Getting ready for soundcheck. Had some snacks. Checked if someone send us a message. Tonight we’re at Sonics Visions festival, hope to see you there (here?)!
The inevitable result of smashing the tambourine against your thigh. I always promise myself that I’ll give the damn instrument a rest the next gig, but as always some strange force takes over, and so there I am battering my poor body.
We’ve left Old England, after a great evening in Brighton, and are now in Bruxelles, Belgium. Right now we’re waiting for soundcheck, and updating our Facebooks. Cornelia is talking to her grandmother on skype. She must have a very modern grandmother…
Simon is cruising the web. Two computers?
Jacob and Mattias are adjusting the lights under the risers for tonight. Tonight is the third last gig of this tour, and I’m already starting to feel the first stirrings of the post-tour blues that is to come. This is no time to be sad though. Tonight is gonna be great. See you all at the VK.
It’s been great seeing you Manchester, London and Brighton. The audience has been great. The confetti has been red. The ballons has been many. Martin bought Flaming Lips space movie on DVD. Frida finally bought a bag for work. Simon bought Glasvegas on vinyl. Cornelia bought small dried blueberries. Tjusarn bought japanese clothes. Jacob bought a tshirt with Darth Vader on. Rikard didn’t buy a thing. And as you already know Emanuel didn’t buy those lovely red shoes. Why? Why? Why? But he did have a proper english breakfast.
SoKo did her last show with us tonight. Thank you dear friend. We miss you already.
See you all soon again!
And SoKo we have to come visit you, because as we all know people always look better in the sun!
P.S We were happy to hear today thay we are the highest ranked swedish band when american Paste Magazine listed the best music of 2008 here!
We made it through both soundcheck and a superfast burrito. You were a great crowd and Soko made friends with a true Tom-Cat and Emanuel looked stylish in his brand new Manchester-made Tiger tee from Me&Yu!
We arrived in England and our lovely friend SoKo has joined us. She’s staying for three gigs. You’ll be sorry if you’ll miss it. Look how lovely her French smile with a Californian touch looks!
It’s a cold, snowy day in Nijmegen. Even the dressingroom is chilly.
To stay warm, Cornelia becomes a runner.
The pic is a bit blurry, but just imagine how fast she was going…
Still waiting for soundcheck. Hope we’ll see you tonight.
