Boating in Budapest!

We made our first stop as a band in Hungary. Best of all, the venue - a boat.
The show was filmed by 5 cameras (more about one of them in a bit) so hopefully even more of you can get a piece of it in the future.

Budapest gave us new pants, sunhine, americans, great crowd and a day to remember…

Salzburg Symphony

We made it to Salzburg. Had some great food. Martin sneeazed a lot. Frida took some great pics that dissapeared when her memorycard collapsed. The sun was warm and the temperature was high bth outside and inside. In short: we had a great time. Hope to see you all again!

Thank you Schorndorf! Today: Salzburg.

We had a great time in Schorndorf last night. A big thankyou to everyone who was there. Today we’re playing in Mozart’s town: Salzburg. We didn’t bring our mozart-costumes, and we haven’t learned to play Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, but let’s all hope it goes well anyway. Come to Rockhouse tonight. We can’t wait to meet you!

Emanuel

One of Emanuel’s rare moments in the sun, by a wall in Schorndorf.

Day two

Day two of the tour and we’re getting started!

Today Simon found a squirrel in Schorndorf. Everybody else were enjoying the sunshine.
Tonight we play Manufaktur. Looking forward to the gig!

Thank you Lisboa!

We had a wonderful yet short visit to Lisboa. We want to thank everyone involved and all you beautiful people who showed up at the Lux that night!

Being a tourist isn’t hard when you have a map. It’s even easier if you have two.

If you haven’t got one, you can just follow the tiles.

After a while we needed to rest our old feet, listen to accordions and say no to sun glasses.

When we saw this portal, we didn’t know what waited at the venue …

… welcome to the Lux! Suddenly it felt natural that John Malkowich is involved in the place.

Some killed their time in the dressing room …

… while others worked hard preparing the balloons.

And then you came along!

We hope to return. Soon.

Lisboa

Finally we’re in Lisboa, Portugal. Tonight we’re celebrating Rikard’s birthday and tomorrow we’re playing a sold out show at the Lux. Yey!

Hello Stockholm, Sweden! Hej Stockholm!

Sen packade vi in oss i bussen igen.

New video for Gunhild

We’re proud to present a new video for the song Gunhild made by Melbourne based filmmaker Sascha Karner.

Sascha is a writer, director and cinematographer and for the moment he is focusing on short films and music videos.

The video for Gunhild is based on his film “the Cosmonaut and the Sun”, about a young boy’s journey into an imaginary world filled with newfound power and unsuspecting victims.

Check it out!

We came, we saw…

Just arrived in Caen

Woke up, check.

Breakfast, check.

Soundcheck, check.

See you soon.

Gotta love them cats

When we were about to leave Brussels Simon and Emanuel had found some new friends that they didn’t whant to leave behind. But there was just no room for them in the bus… Cornelia is still the only one who mjaus. At least when SoKo is around.

Gotta love them cats.

Arrived in Luxemburg

Getting ready for soundcheck. Had some snacks. Checked if someone send us a message. Tonight we’re at Sonics Visions festival, hope to see you there (here?)!

Crowdsurfing 2.0

This is the new way to do it. Fabulous, isn’t it?

Tambourine Mayhem

The inevitable result of smashing the tambourine against your thigh. I always promise myself that I’ll give the damn instrument a rest the next gig, but as always some strange force takes over, and so there I am battering my poor body.

Live from the Merch stand!

Today it’s Daniel and me, Rikard, that are selling our fantastic merchandise. Come see us right by the entrance. This is how it looks:

By the way: The first person that comes to the VK tonight and claims to be called Ken Lee is on the guest list, and will get in for free!

Oh Yeah!

Cheese!

After a while, Cornelia finally managed to find the fridges in the dressing room. Look what she found:

Walking around Brussels

Soundcheck as we speak. Hope to see you tonight!

Belgium Baby!

We’ve left Old England, after a great evening in Brighton, and are now in Bruxelles, Belgium. Right now we’re waiting for soundcheck, and updating our Facebooks. Cornelia is talking to her grandmother on skype. She must have a very modern grandmother…

Simon is cruising the web. Two computers?

Jacob and Mattias are adjusting the lights under the risers for tonight. Tonight is the third last gig of this tour, and I’m already starting to feel the first stirrings of the post-tour blues that is to come. This is no time to be sad though. Tonight is gonna be great. See you all at the VK.

Stay tuned for more updates.

/Rikard

Time to leave you England

It’s been great seeing you Manchester, London and Brighton. The audience has been great. The confetti has been red. The ballons has been many. Martin bought Flaming Lips space movie on DVD. Frida finally bought a bag for work. Simon bought Glasvegas on vinyl. Cornelia bought small dried blueberries. Tjusarn bought japanese clothes. Jacob bought a tshirt with Darth Vader on. Rikard didn’t buy a thing. And as you already know Emanuel didn’t buy those lovely red shoes. Why? Why? Why? But he did have a proper english breakfast.

SoKo did her last show with us tonight. Thank you dear friend. We miss you already.

See you all soon again!

And SoKo we have to come visit you, because as we all know people always look better in the sun!

P.S We were happy to hear today thay we are the highest ranked swedish band when american Paste Magazine listed the best music of 2008 here!

London, baby!

Lot of things can happen in London. And they do. We did a little of both. Like tried on shiny shoes.

If Emanuel only would have known what would happen later he would have bought them. But he didn’t…

Naked Sessions

Meditating over the beautiful mess after a wonderful gig at Scala, London while having myself an apple. What a wonderful crowd, what a magical night!

Thank you Manchester!

We made it through both soundcheck and a superfast burrito. You were a great crowd and Soko made friends with a true Tom-Cat and Emanuel looked stylish in his brand new Manchester-made Tiger tee from Me&Yu!

Hope to see you all soon,

Frida and the rest of Barcelona

Soko is here!

We arrived in England and our lovely friend SoKo has joined us. She’s staying for three gigs. You’ll be sorry if you’ll miss it. Look how lovely her French smile with a Californian touch looks!

Are we human, or are we Runners?

It’s a cold, snowy day in Nijmegen. Even the dressingroom is chilly.
To stay warm, Cornelia becomes a runner.
The pic is a bit blurry, but just imagine how fast she was going…

Still waiting for soundcheck. Hope we’ll see you tonight.

/Rikard

Grafitti

Just wanted to show you this house.
This is the place we’re playing tonight, Doornroosje in Nijmegen.
